Ramadhan Reminder Day 3 (1447H/2026)

This hadeeth teaches us a solution to having your prayers accepted.

One who prays for his muslim brother in his absence also benefits from it, because an Angel has been appointed to carry out this very duty of saying ‘May the same be for you too’.

Surely there is no doubt in the acceptance of the dua of the angels.

‘Allamah Nawawi (rahimahullah) states that making du’a for someone in his/her absence shows sincerity. Therefore this du’a is accepted.

(Al Minhaj)

Imam al- Ghazali Rahimahullah mentions –

Among the ettiquettes of friendship and brotherhood is to supplicate on behalf of one’s brother, in his life and after his death, for everything he likes for himself and his household and everything concerning him. He should supplicate for him as he would for himself, there being no difference between them. Indeed, your supplication for him is a supplication for you, in reality.
